Sheldon "Shel" Dorf died today due to complications from diabetes. I honestly never knew who created the con until I found this out earlier today. From the brief news articles I read I think he has not had anything to do with the con since 1985, but still. This man is a pioneer, a legend. He created something that a lot of us hold so dearly in our hearts. I would put more, but I do not know anything about him... Here is a link to the article from San Diego's Fox affiliate.
