As comics and comic culture become larger and larger the attention that its fans get grows as well. Comic Book Men was a start, I love the show but I am a Kevin Smith fan, there are those who despise the show. Comic Book Heroes seems to be a more down to earth show about a comic store and the fans that love their comics. It looks like it will take place at Midtown comics which is located in New York City as well as the New York Comic Convention. I'm not exactly sure how National Geographic got involved, all I care about is it looks like it will be a legitimate show. So many places try to depict us as nerds living in our parents basement when the fact is we just love great stories. Without a doubt this show will be on in my household on a weekly basis, I love comics and the culture 100%. I haven't seen whether it is a show or a mini series but it premiers on July 13th, I guess they wanted to lose half their viewers to the San Diego Convention. I'm sure you will see stuff all over SDCC if you will be there, which I will.
