Sony announced today that we will be getting yet another addition to their new trilogy collection. It's sad because we can only assume that they are trying to push as many systems out as they can before they discontinue them, but also good for people who have never played these games or who want to rediscover them. Anyways, the Killzone set is going to come with the original game redone in HD with full trophy support. Also included are Killzone 2 & 3 with all the DLC. The game will retail for $39.99 and will be released on Oct 23rd. Yet another awesome reason to own a PS3.

p.s. I was reading the comments on the Playstation Blog regarding this announcement and they say that the first Killzone will be available at some point as a stand alone download in case you already own Killzone 2&3.
