Patton Oswalt is one of my favorite comedians and I'm sure most of you who follow him know he is a huge nerd. I got online and saw these two videos that Patton Oswalt has done and they are very funny.
The first thing is a filibuster rant about Star Wars Episode VII and the Marvel Universe on Parks and Recreation. The video is very funny and it just shows how big of a nerd he actually is. I love his new idea. What do you think of his
movie idea?
The people over at EW.com made a poster
for his new movie idea.
The other thing Patton Oswalt did, was play the penguin for a College Humor skit. I thought the video was very funny. Check it out and let us know what you think.
Uncharted 3 got a huge new update to the multiplayer today. Patch 1.13 added the Tournament System, new DLC, experimental block mesh maps and more! For full details you can go here.

Hey guys I just heard that DOOM 3: BFG Edition will be released on October 16th 2012. If you haven’t heard about this yet it's going to be Doom 3 with the expansion pack, plus 7 new levels, called “The Lost Mission”, the game will also include the original Doom and Doom 2. The game will also have the mulitplayer from Doom 3 so you can look forward to killing your friends online. Another tweak they made to the game is an armor-mounted flashlight. The console versions will cost $39.99 and $29.99 for the PC version.
I'm pretty happy for this edition. I played Doom 3 a long time ago but I never beat it, so it will be nice to go back and play that. Will you guys be picking this game up?
Hey guys Stan Lee is a playable character in the new Amazing Spider-Man game. I'm really exited to play as him. Like Stan Lee says in the video I love watching Marvel movies and seeing his cameos in them and I think playing as him in a video game would be awesome. Check out the new trailer with gameplay. I also like how when it goes into the first person view it has the glasses on. The game comes out June 26th.
I can't decide if it will be a day one purchase or not. What do you guys think?
Hey guys it's Nick here, sorry I've been away for so long. I have been really busy with my new job and haven’t had time to post as much as I used to. I have some good news though, I was on AICN and I read about a rumor that in August we might get a three-hour director’s cut of the Avengers in theaters. It would have a total of 35 additional minutes added to the movie. I really hope it's true because I loved the movie and would go see it again on the big screen for the extra 35 minutes.
I'm picking up the Blu-Ray as soon as it comes out and really hope it has a ton of extra content on it. I want to know if you would go see it again or just wait for the DVD/ Blu-Ray release?

Hey guys it's Nick here with an interview with Frank Forte from Asylum Press. Frank Forte is the Publisher at Asylum Press and he's also an Artist and Writer for some of thier comics. Check out the interview after the break.
It's been years since I have done this and I didn't even finish the last one, but I'm sitting here with my kid, on a Saturday morning and I want to do this. Who would win in a battle between two of Earth's most indestructible heroes, The Hulk and Superman. Lets just do a quick run down and look at the characters.
All of us remember crying our eyes out when there was the news of the recasting for most of the Futurama cast. Well everything was resolved and all the actors we know and love are coming back. Did you ever wonder how far the casting got? Well here is an actor trying out for Kiff and Fry, I'm sure the guy is a decent guy but him doing the voice of Fry would have been a catastrophe.
Alright the next installment of Nerdcore battle is good old Cap vs the Dark Knight. This is a much more difficult one to decide, more so than Mario vs Spider-Man, because they are both icons for their respective comics. I know that The Avengers have crossed over with the Justice League before but this is one on one. We're going down to basics with nothing to crazy, and here we go.
Batman has been trained in many different fighting styles and is in peak physical condition. He is a billionaire, which provides him with the many gadgets and weapons that he has hidden on him, as well as his bat suit. We're talking his basic suit, not some crazy suit from a one shot comic. He has vast experience, and has fought many foes and sent them to Arkham Asylum. To the best of my knowledge the only foe to beat Batman is Bane in Knightfall. I'm not perfect guys so this is what you get, if you want to add more info, add it to the comments.
We're talking Steve Rogers here not Bucky Barnes, Steve will always be the Cap. Steve is the perfect man due being administered the super soldier serum. His strength, agility, reflexes and healing factor are above all other human beings levels. He never gets tired and from what I've read he cannot become intoxicated. He is a master tactician and has a vast amount of combat and leadership experience. On top of all of that, is the fact that he has a shield made out of an unbreakable alien-metal alloy, vibranium, that he uses as a shield and a weapon.
These are the facts and I will take the comments and discuss with all the people behind Sly Comics and we will figure this most serious question out. Remember comment about who you think will win!!!
Alright, you guys are going to have to forgive me on this one and I'll tell you why. I was going to do a web comic on who won in the Spider-Man Mario match up. Well I found the Spider-Man action figure I was going to use but it was Impossible to find a non plush decent Mario figure. I saw one a while back but he was sold out. Anyways after a few e-mails, some comments, and hours of deliberation Spider-Man has come out on top. Even though Mario is crafty and has been around a while Spider-Man has seen it all and keeps on coming. So I'm sorry to all you Mario fans but Spider-Man is this months winner. The next match up will come out tomorrow and I will have a sweet ass action figure web comic to finish the battle this time around.
